does anybody know what this is a sign of?
yes she is favoring her left paw shes done that before though so I am unsure
bathroom functions and appitite are normal
I do intend to take her to the vet
Update!
I took my dog to the vet, without any xrays the vet says that it doesn’t seem like she was having strokes but rather a possible pinched disc, we have her set up on some muscle relaxers and need to watch her the next five days

Why haven’t you taken her to the vet yet?!
She is in pain!!! Get her to the vet as soon as they open.
Probably hard to hear, but she is pretty old, my dog had seizures, then was very disoriented and not himself, so I did what I had to do he was 17. Hope all goes well with your pup.
Extreme pain
Is there any unusual high frequency noises going on in your house?
it sounds like she is having strokes, after she does it does part of her body not want to work right, like her legs or anything…but i would take her to the vet to make sure it not nothing serious, but it sounds like shes haveing a stroke
Was she having a seizure when she made this cry? If it was a seizure then she should be ok until you get to the vet tomorrow as long as you keep her quiet.
Sorry I don’t know what it could be a sign of but it doesn’t sound too good. Is she on medication for her seizures?
Why is it an emergency after you have let her shriek for two days?Get her to the vets
there’s no way to know without an exam. is she spayed?
Call an emergency Vet and tell them her symptoms, the vet will usually answer over the phone , if not keep calling different ones till they do.
Small dogs are prone to not only seizures, but to all kinds of different cancers. As old as your dog is she could have a tumor inside somewhere that is causing pain.
Our little dog was 15 and had bad arthritis that caused her to occasionally yelp like that whenever she stepped wrong, especially during cold or wet weather.
You can give your dog a small dose of Benadryl (12.5 mg for a 7 or 8 pound dog) It won’t do much but calm her & may give her some pain-free sleep.
Do Not give your dog 12 and a half milligrams of Benedryl. maybe one and a half or 2.
Hi,
I don’t like to second-guess about the shrieking - perhaps it has something to do with the seizures, but if it were my dog, I would ask my vet to check the dog’s thyroid function. Seizures *can* be a clinical symptom of Hypothyroidism, as can be lameness (please see below website by Dr. Jean Dodds)
Hope this helps.
Extract from below website:
*Thyroid dysfunction was found in 62% of the aggressive dogs, 77% of seizuring dogs, 47% of fearful dogs, and 31% of hyperactive dogs.
