KC asked:
my chiwawa has this weird dark pinkish wart on her bottom lip. She isn’t in any pain. My dad said that its nothing i need some more advice. Should i take her to the vet?
my dog is 4yrs old she had this wart like thing for about 3 or 4 month now. I am pretty sure it isnt going bigger. i called a vet and they said it could be a lack of sex, the food that she eats, or something else. Thank you all for your help. I will wait 2 more month to see if it grows. If it doesnt grow i will happy and i hope its not cancer.

You can call your vet, so you won’t have to spend money. If she thinks it’s something to be looked at, bring your dog in. Good luck.
its probably nuttin but i would still take her to da vet jus to b sure
I would have it looked at by a vet since it concerns you, just for peace of mind.
I have a chihuahua too, he gets warts all the time buts its not that big of deal, usually it will go away on its own.
Of course, you should take her to the vet.
Only the vet can properly diagnose your dog, and administer treatment if necessary.
Good Luck.
Yes!!
My chiwawa had one, it turned out to be cancer. It got bigger, and bigger, and our vet ended up saying that he was going to die, unless we got it cut off. But to do so, they were going to have to cut his whole bottom jaw off. I’m dead serious. No way I’d joke about it. I miss my Binki.
Anyways, take him to the vet. If I’m wrong, then I’m sorry you had to waste money. I’m just saying that ours had it, died a couple months later. Just watch it, and if it does get bigger, take her.
Warts are a natural part of human and animal life. I can’t even count the number of warts my dog has! Your Chihuahua is just fine, it’s a natural part of aging.
Warts come from when a bacterial virus enters the body and the body fights it off to one single location. It seals off the area under the wart so the virus can’t get back in. Look at it this way–better to have the warts and be fine than not have them and be sick! :]
