Can dog carriers cause health issues?

I have a carrier for her and she doesn’ mind being carried around in it, but she hates to walk- anywhere.

But i have heard carriers can cause problems, are there any health issues involved with dog carriers?

I would only use the carrier i the car or to someone’s house or the vet because she hasn’t had all of her shots yet so i am not able to walk her, However she tires out quite quickly from a run around the house.

Carriers cause psychological problems which can lead to health problems if they are used to replace walks and exercise. Just because you have a small dog doesn’t mean she won’t benefit from at least one daily walk. Take her to a basic obedience class so she can become comfortable with walking and won’t rely on being carried.
She can develop problems with muscle development if you carry her around in a carrier all the time.
She needs to walk some to maintain her muscle use.
Use the carrier for going to crowded places. in the car, trips to the petshop or vet, etc.
Do take her on walks daily to keep her exercized.. even if she’s only walked a block or two.
It also causes training issues. How are you going to let your dog experience the real world if you carry her everywhere???
She will become neurotic and anti-social. Get her out of the carrier and walk her and train her!!!!
Dogs need exercise. and a stroller does not exercise them.
they cause an issue that if u use it so much ur dih hates walkin around…so only use it if u must where they don’t allow dog walking
not the carrier itself but the affects of using it constantly. If you are carrying her all the time it can cause problems with muscle development as well as problems that result in lack of exercise due to her never walking. Dogs can also develop psychological and behavioral problems from constantly being carried (ie the small dogs you see that are very aggressive or possessive of there owners
